7/12 tuna water update.

The albacore season is coming! At this point there is warm water (58.8°) west northwest of Eureka ~60 miles. Unfortunately, the chlorophyll content is high. When the clean blue water lines up with

the warm water and..... the ocean settles down it's game time. For those of you on my "tuna list" I'd recommend having ur gear prepared to run. We usually begin running mid July. These trips happen fast! Sometimes 24-48hours notice.
