Back to Cape Mendocino. My crew put some hurt on the bottom fish today! We loaded up on a mess of rockfish and a few lings. They decided they had enough fish for the year so we bailed and did some prospecting for salmon very close to shore near the cape. We had several take downs and one really nice salmon. ~15 pounds. The ocean just got better and better.
